Al-Noor Bakery in Ottawa

A nice, simple middle eastern style bakery selling pita bread and fatyr (dough freshly baked in an open gas oven with halal meat, cheese, oregano and sesame, spinach, veges or combinations thereof). It is simple and delish. I regularly pick up a few for a quick family supper. It is reasonably priced with each one priced between $2 and $5. You can also call to order in advance larger orders (dozens of mini fatyr) that are definite party pleasers. They are operating for pick up through the lock down and I would definitely recomnend for a change.

Cheap and delicious. This place has zataar, cheese pie, meat pie ... All the favourites. Their entire wall of drinks fridge contains many exotic options. Drop by and grab something - it won't break the bank :) My kids absolutely love this place.

Always have to stop by al-noor for their pies when I’m at this end of town. Always fresh and delicious. Service is quick, and friendly.

I have tried Lebanese style meat pies from all over Ottawa and these are the best that I've had and at a reasonable price, simple as that. The guys that work here are friendly enough but also just no-nonsense and straight forward. You come in, you order, you pay, you leave with really good food.

This is my favourite place in town for meat pies. Excellent quality. Always fresh.

Was visiting from California - this bakery was such a surprise ! Tasty dough, delicious ingredients, nice staff. Their flat bread (mo3ajanat) reminded me of Jordan. I'll plan to stop by again once I return to visit Ottawa :)

I am a big fan of meat pie after having it from here and visit this store more often. They offer different varieties of pies and most importantly, the prices are very reasonable. I will recommend this place if you want to taste fire cooked pies.

AMAZING, Zatr with veggie is very good, controlled salt in the zatr, sevice is fast, and meat cheese and veggie is also amazing, good, big, and cheap, drinks are 1 dollar ONLY, highly recommend

First time visit today with my father and brother, service was exceptional food was incredible! will be returning with friends very soon! we all got the #12 (meat,cheese and veggies) which I'm sure will soon become my favorite. Quality is very good especially for the cheep prices! Second time there and the experience was consistent! I love this place! Photos are from the second time there.

Zataar pies with veggies is my go to. Thanks for having cucumbers it really adds the best flavour. Meat pies are great, at some cheese and it's on. Extremely friendly staff who are great at fast service and have never messed up a large order.

This is an honest opinion based on my experience.If you value any kind of basic human respect, think twice before visiting this place. Firstly, it's super dirty. Secondly, the way they treat customers is just unacceptable. The staff does not acknowledge you nor respects you. During my visit, they were not busy at all. They were having a conversation for several minutes without acknowledging me. The moment they said hi and finally asked for my order, they did not allow me to even say two words before they cut me off and went back to their conversation for another while. After standing there waiting some more, and despite the fact that I came all the way from the other end of the city to try their pies, I coudn't have made a better decision but to leave in silence, which they definetly didn't expect to happen and clearly seemed surprised. As I value basic human respect (let alone good customer service), I will not support this place nor will I recommend it to my friends and family.

I’ve been going here for the last 6 years and the quality of their pies has been good. But couple of days ago I got a pie and when I got home to eat it it was absolutely disgusting. The meat was raw and it smelt like it was left on the counter all night. My dad went to the place and kindly told the guy. Instead of admitting to his problem the guy rudely responded to my dad like a dog saying “if you don’t like the quality don’t come we don’t care” what kind of response is this. Extremely rude. This guy is an elderly person only he is rude everytime others are nice. You guys need to fix this guys attitude towards customers

I had excellent service and they took special care to cut my pie because I can only use 1 hand. Thank you for making me feel welcome.I'm always treated like family there. I walked through the door tonight and I didn't have to place my order. They knew exactly what I wanted...extra spicy. Always friendly, polite and extremely efficient. They should get 6 Stars....

Awesome pies. Hot and fresh food for vegetarian and non-veg food lovers. Always open and warm welcome from the staff. They prepare everything from the raw material onsite. A good place to eat fresh at low cost.

Services fast food is always fresh. Prices on point. The guys working behind the counter work hard. God bless these immigrants.You don't come here for the decor. The neighborhood is rough but you know what that doesn't matter. Come in and get your meat cheese pie get out.You got to give it 5 Stars. This Lebanese baker is a treasure.

I usually go down the street to get my cheese and meat pies but today we chose to try AL Noor Bakery. They were delicious! Nice selection of party trays too.

Some of the best pies in town give it a shot if you are in the area. Staff are friendly and prompt.

Everything looks nice. I thought I'd like to try to order one of their pies. He told me I couldn't have one, I'd have to order two although he didn't say why. I wasn't that hungry so I left without having anything. Maybe there's a good reason why they can't sell just one, but I naturally recoil when I feel like I'm being pressured. Food looked good but customer service lacking. Reminded me of the "Soup Nazi" on Seinfeld.

Good Clean Bakery. Their pies are good. Recommend paying the extra 1 on the cheese pie and get akawa cheese and ask for them to roll it thinner. Taste 10 times better. Recommend trying their veggie with cheese not cheese with veggie. It’s very good and for a change from your typical cheese or meat it’s good
